MimiEnAfrique

This narrative will cover many things: epic journeys, minor meanderings, discoveries, attempts at betterment, new hobby pursuits, old hobby revivals and of course the continued dedication to the quest of taco excellence (on the completely wrong continent). My home base in Africa is Johannesburg in RSA – I am but a visitor here for the time being. Mimi was the name I adopted in my high school French class – no one really calls me by that now. My oft’ present sidekick is called The Dini.

Chances are that if you are reading this, you know me already – which is excellent as the purpose of this blog is to keep you updated on life and such. In the unlikely event that we are strangers to one another – a very short history is that I am an Ohio farm girl who has recently transplanted from NYC to Africa.
